Voces de Cal Poly: Our Roots, Our Routes - Living Histories of Belonging and Cultural Sustainability on California's Central Coast In-Person / Online

Please join the Cal Poly Libraries for the final event in this year's Voces de Cal Poly speaker series.

This event, presented as part of the Voces de Cal Poly Speaker Series, will feature Dr. Lata Murti, Dr. Karen Muñoz-Christian, Sandra Sarrouf, MA, and the WLC 360 editor-translator team. The presentation will focus on oral histories, research, and translations from Latinx/e mothers, daughters, and families in Santa Barbara County.

Centered on the themes of migration, identity, community, memory, and advocacy, the session will explore living histories of belonging and cultural sustainability on California’s Central Coast. Attendees can expect an engaging interdisciplinary conversation grounded in community voices, storytelling, and scholarship, with a reception to follow.
